How does the non surgical skin tightening procedure work?
The Titan is the first light-based treatment for deep dermal tightening.  Infrared light is used to heat up the tissue in the deep dermis, while the outer layer of skin, the epidermis, is cooled and left intact.  The collagen molecules in the dermis tighten gradually resulting in tighter, more youthful looking skin without surgery.  The Titan is effective for all skin types.

What areas can be treated with the Titan?
The Titan is a nonsurgical method to tighten the loose skin around the neck, chin, cheek, and abdomen.  In the future, Dr. Guida believes this nonsurgical skin tightening will be equally effective for loose skin of the arms, knees, or elbows.

How is the Titan procedure performed?
The procedure is done in Dr. Guida’s office requiring no anesthesia.  During the treatment you will feel a warm or stinging sensation.  A topical anesthetic cream can be applied beforehand to minimize any discomfort.  The procedure takes about 1 hour and afterwards there may mild redness to the treated area.  Make up can be applied and there is no downtime.
